Cookies
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on superclever.com (including the Croatian version at superclever.com/hr and our local centre pages), why we use them, and how you can change your choice at any time. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device when you visit it. They make the site work, remember your settings and — if you agree to it — let us measure how useful our ads and content are. Similar technologies (pixels, local storage) are covered by this policy in the same way as cookies.
Categories of cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary cookies (always on)
The site cannot work without them, so they are set without consent. These include the cookie that stores your cookie choice (CookieScriptConsent), technical WordPress cookies, the server session cookie (PHPSESSID) and spam protection for our forms.
2. Marketing cookies (only with your consent)
These are set only after you accept the “marketing” category in the cookie banner. Until then the corresponding scripts on the page stay inactive. We use:
- Google Ads (tag AW-16462159788) — measuring how our ads and enquiries perform; cookies _gcl_au and related, Google Ireland Ltd.
- Meta Pixel (ID 433949125644373) — measuring the performance of ads on Facebook and Instagram; cookies _fbp, fr, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
- HubSpot — on our franchise enquiry pages; recognising visits and submitted forms; cookies __hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc, HubSpot Inc.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (mainly in the USA), on the basis of the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
3. Embedded content
Some pages embed YouTube videos and Google Maps. When you start such content, the provider may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
How long they last
Session cookies are deleted as soon as you close your browser. The cookie holding your consent choice lasts one year, and marketing cookies usually up to two years, depending on the provider.
How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change your choice at any time, with no disadvantage:
You can also delete and block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — under “Settings → Privacy”). If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may stop working correctly.
